Back
in 2004 we cycled the NSCR leaving Reedham in Norfolk on Sunday13th June,
travelling anti -clockwise. We had a wonderful time and loved every minute
of it.
When
sailing from the Orkneys and arriving back in the UK on Scottish soil, we
still had to cycle down to Norfolk.
However, because of circumstances we didn’t cycle all the way back.
We did most of it, but not all. This left us with a feeling of disappointment
over the years and in 2009 we decided to do England and Scotland again, this
time on a tandem.
So in a roundabout way we got there in the end
IN
A ROUNDABOUT WAY...

Having written a book about
our journey by the very title of ‘In a Roundabout Way’, this is
now available at the price of £ 15.00.
The book contains 103 pages with our daily distances. It includes 90 coloured
photographs and 8 detailed cartographical maps. There is also a list of our
itinery.
Once the book is making
a profit -and we are still way off - this will be used for bikeparking in
our village on the riverside.
The book is not about on where to stay, camp site fees, which turning to take
or ‘Where am I’, the appropriate maps are for that, - you will
always need those.
Although it may give you guidance, the book is primarily about our journey.
What it meant to us, what we saw and what we experienced, when happy or when
tired and the people we met en route.
If you wish to purchase
the book please send an email to blanchesreedham@msn.com
